Blasters During the Clone Wars

This website will be explaining about Blaster rifles used between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists.

The reason is simple, there are too many types of models from different planets. Also, both the Galactic Republic and the Separatists are organized to use specific Blasters throughout the war.

DC-15A

The DC-15A was commonly used throughout the Clone Wars. It was first used during the First Battle of Geonosis.

There were several variant models of the DC-15A:

  • DC-15LE
  • DC-15x

    • Both models were modified versions of the DC-15A for much longer range shooting.

    This specific model can be seen several times in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (Episode 2), Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (Episode 3).

    DC-15S

    The DC-15S was also a commonly used Blaster throughout the Clone Wars.

    It's functionalities are similar with the E-5.

    The main differences between the DC-15A, and the DC-15S were:

  • Smaller in size
  • Higher rate of fire
  • Lower firing range

    • The blaster lacked in range, but it was easier to handle than the DC-15A.

    This Blaster in the future, gets upgraded and used by StormTroopers with the name E-11.

    This model can be seen several times in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (Episode 3) along with the DC-15A.
